Sustainable development relies on a strong democratic system. Democracy is the core for sustainability and its an unfinished project. The present state of most democracy models impedes opportunity for real change. Iceland has a longstanding democratic heritage, with a parliament dating back to 930. Manageable in size and strong tech infrastructure. It offers the perfect prototyping lab for a more efficient democratic systems and processes before implemented for super nations.
